At the inlet to Mariehamn lies a very special place called Kobba klintar.

On the small island lies an old maritime pilot station, that used to house the brave men who guided ships safely into the western port of the town. Unique environment that can be experienced by everyone.

In one of the old houses a café is situated and some of the buildings are serving as galleries for local artists. Concerts and other cultural events are often held here in the summertime.

The historic site is kept by the committed people in the non-profit organization Kobba klintars vänner.
